MAISON D:E VACANCES is a new concept brand born within THE HOUSE.

While THE HOUSE offers dramatic views and extraordinary escapes,
this brand is about something slightly different—
a “vacation villa that sparks a little thrill.”

The first property was a white traditional house in Hayama.
The second is here, on Jogashima Island.

Jogashima Concept: A Suite Room on a Cruise Ship

Located at the edge of Jogashima, just across from the bustling fishing port of Misaki,
this villa sits in front of the pier for ferry boats and a seawall popular for fishing.
Nearby you’ll also find fish farms on the water, a diving center, and a short walk will take you to scenic hills perfect for hiking with sweeping ocean views.

It’s a location full of ways to play and explore.

We designed the villa as if the entire island and port town were a giant passenger ship,
and this suite were a private cabin aboard.

Interior & Experience

Inside, you’ll find lighting inspired by Le Klint and the classic marine style of ship cabins.
The dining room evokes the feeling of a sailor’s mess hall, while other spaces blend comfort with maritime charm.

On clear days, Mt. Fuji can be seen from every room.
There are two living rooms—one perfect for relaxing after enjoying the terrace jacuzzi,
and another for leisurely dining—so you can fully enjoy your day.

An authentic ship’s bell is also here, along with a red lighthouse nearby,
as boats set out to sea right before your eyes.

Step outside, and it feels as if you are embarking from your own small cruise ship.

Set Sail with Friends

Capacity: up to 5 “crew members” (children upon request).
Decide who will be the Captain, Cook, Bartender, Music Director, or Entertainment Officer,
and set sail on your own playful voyage.

And don’t forget—your booking confirmation is your boarding pass.
